N400 Civic Test Prep (the “App”) is an educational app that helps you study for the U.S. naturalization civics interview using the official 100-question USCIS civics list. We respect your privacy and do not sell your personal information.
The App stores your study progress entirely on your own device, including:
This data never leaves your device. You can reset or delete it at any time by clearing the App’s data in your device settings or using the built-in “Reset Progress” option.
If you choose to send feedback through the app, the text you type (and the optional name, if you provide one) is sent to us so we can improve the app. This is stored in a spreadsheet we maintain and is never linked to any other data. You can provide feedback anonymously by leaving the name field blank.
You can delete your data at any time using the built-in “Reset Progress” option in the App. This immediately deletes all study data stored by the App on your device, including question ratings and net scores, interview and practice history, bookmarks, custom answers, theme preference, daily study reminders, and premium unlock status.
Alternatively, you can delete the App from your device, or clear the App’s data and cache through your device’s system settings (Settings › Apps › N400 Civic Test Prep › Storage › Clear data), which removes all locally stored data.
Because all study data is stored only on your device, deleting it does not require contacting us. If you need further assistance with data deletion, email us at dombuilds.dev@gmail.com and we will help you.
No study data is retained by us because none of it is sent to us in the first place. For advertising-related data (such as the advertising ID) collected by Google AdMob, deletion is handled through Google’s advertising controls, which you can manage at https://adssettings.google.com.
The App displays banner ads served by Google AdMob. As part of serving and measuring ads, Google’s ad SDK may collect and process device identifiers (such as the Android advertising ID) and related usage data. The App requests non-personalized ads. If you choose to enable daily study reminders, the App schedules local notifications on your device. This is handled on-device and does not transmit any data to us.
Removing ads is a one-time in-app purchase processed entirely by Google Play. The App itself does not collect or store your payment information; your transaction is handled by Google’s billing services and is subject to Google’s own privacy terms.
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the App after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
